<strong>Tahu</strong>-<strong>nui</strong>-a-<strong>Rangi</strong> was commissioned by cellist Dr. Heleen du Plessis for the<br />
newly formed Duo Col Legno with marimba virtuoso Yoshiko Tsuruta. This<br />
work was funded jointly by a Creative New Zealand Arts Grant and publicly<br />
through the crowdunding platform Boosted. In collaboration with Dr. Ian<br />
Griffen the premiere took place as part of Duo Col Legno’s Chamber Music<br />
New Zealand tour, in Dunedin’s Planetarium, Otago Museum on 4 May 2019.<br />
This edition is a facsimile of the original score provided by the composer.<br />
