Dear SPB Families,
The current pandemic situation with
the new Omicron is disheartening and
challenging to all of us. Our hope that
activities inside and outside the school will
become more open and accessible since
the beginning of Semester 2 are put on
hold for the time being. Nevertheless, we
were fortunate that we were able to start
intensive face to face lessons and conduct
some parts of Intramurals and Cambridge
mock exams face to face prior to the hike
of Omicron in our city.
I would like to give my appreciation to
SPB families who reported promptly any
Covid-19 situations that had affected
their families to the school. Your fast and
quick communication keeps our students
and their families safe and helps us to
maintain consistent learning service to all
of our students.
In a similar way, families have to adapt
with the change of learning platform and
routine on a short notice. Nevertheless,
through all these continuous changes, I
am amazed by the resilience our students,
staff and teachers have shown. I hope,
we will be able to go back to more offline
classes in the near future.

in this issue. Please also get some
encouragement and tips from the article

Result. Parenting is hard; and sometimes
you just feel like giving up when you have

Since the second week of February, the
school has to take a quick action on day
to day basis to ensure that the whole
SPB families’ safety is prioritized, while
continuous learning can take place every
day for our students.
Last but not least, Sekolah Pelita Bangsa
wish you a happy Chinese New Year to
those who celebrate. May happiness,
health and prosperity be with you in this
year.
