Discovering the delights of photography on your
new smartphone and want to learn how to take
great pictures or master that camera for more than
family snaps?
Why not join your local, friendly photography
club? Founded in 1987, the Nottingham Outlaws
Photographic Society prides itself on being friendly
and welcoming. Our enthusiastic members are from
all walks of life with photographic abilities ranging
from beginners to advanced, catering for young or
old.
We encourage beginners, enthusiasts and
professionals and support digital or traditional
photography; it doesn’t matter which camera you use.
There is no one genre of photography for our club,
we try our hand at all subjects; landscapes, portraits,
nature, sport, street, still-life, abstract. The only limit
is how far your imagination can stretch.
We meet on Thursdays throughout the year at St
James Church Hall, Marshall Hill Drive, Mapperley
from 8pm to 10pm. We have a mix of visiting
speakers and practical evenings, some in the club
room and some out and about. New members are
always welcome. If you are interested in joining us
then come along for a week or two before you make
a decision. Please check our programme before you
travel to meet us -we may be out taking pictures.
