Q
·Just be yourself. This sounds cheesy but remember, the
college already has your application; they already know your
grades and test scores, now just let your personality shine
through.
·Have questions and take the opportunity to get to know
about the school. This isn’t just about the college seeing if
you’re a good fit for them, it’s also your opportunity to see if
the school is a good fit for you. From personal experience, I
lost interest in what I thought to be my “Dream School” after I
got talking with my interviewer and realized that the campus
vibe just wasn’t what I was looking for.
·Don’t over prepare!!! This is a big one. Of course, you should
prep for you interview and get comfortable answering and
asking questions, but over preparing can result in sounding
robotic or extremely rehearsed.
Common Questions
·Tell me a bit about yourself
·Can you tell me a bit about what you consider to be your most
meaningful activity throughout school?
·How would others describe you? Why?
·What’s your favorite book and why?
·If you could have a conversation with one person living or
dead, who would it be? Why?
