Only choose leaders who are people of integrity and full of wisdom.
Educate yourself in the US Constitution, and your state constitution.
Take the time to seek the truth and think for yourselves.
Recognize failed policies. Cause and effect – learn from mistakes.
Recognize and repeat successful policies. If it's not broken don't fix it.
Know your history well so mistakes are never repeated.
Stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before. Ask a trusted mentor.
Test the news for truth, especially when it is labeled as having been debunked.
Let your voice be heard. Alert your family and friends to mis/dis/mal information.
Be willing to fight for our freedom and our republic.
Make sure your young people are well-versed in their role as good citizens.
Question the hidden agenda behind any government activities.
Closely follow what's happening in legislature. Let them know you're watching!
Keep track of how your representatives vote on every issue.
Give up blind trust in your representatives. Hold them accountable.
Have a long memory. Never forget when a politician promises but does not deliver.
If representatives fall short, make sure everyone knows about it, including them.
Make sure local and federal budgets are adhered to. It's YOUR money.
Never let a ballot for any office go unchallenged in your county.
Be aware of deadlines that could prevent a candidate from a place on the ballot.
Be discerning. Policy changes always rear their ugly heads just before an election.
Be involved in your local government and school board.
Work your local election precinct as a judge or inspector.
Make sure your county election is compliant with all state law.
Be just, live with kindness, and walk humbly with your God. Be a good leader.
Never miss an opportunity to vote. The world is counting on you to do it right.
