LEGISLATIVE REPORT
by COS Indiana Legislative Liaison Marty Woods
HB1134 – passed. Amendment 20 was withdrawn and new Amendment 34 was put up in its
place and it quickly restored some of the original content of the bill that COS supported. A
new version of HB1134 passed and will be going to the Senate floor for a vote. It ended up
much better than it would have been with amendment 20, but was not quite as good as we
had hoped.
HB1041 – passed. Gender definition in sports defines that a male at birth cannot participate
in women's sports in Indiana.
Marty encourages everyone to build strong relationships with their legislators.
