Jules Gray of Hop Hideout is at the helm.Eachyear Jules<br />
encourages pubs, booze shopsand breweriesacross the city<br />
to do something special for Sheffield Beer Week, to really<br />
show off thevery bestofthe Sheffield beer scene. Previous<br />
Sheffield Beer Week themes return for<strong>2022</strong>, including Beer<br />
and Food, Community, and Heritage. Extra strands in this<br />
year's programme include acollaboration with Harrogate<br />
BeerWeek, afocus on creating welcoming spaces for<br />
everyone in the beerscene withOut &About, International<br />
Women's Day events,and acelebration of access to green<br />
spacesunder thebannerofThe OutdoorCity.<br />
The<strong>2022</strong> programmewill be amix of online andin-person<br />
events. There'll be an exploration of brewing research with<br />
leading internationalprofessionals;beerand historywalks;a<br />
running and beer social; and alook at theRighttoRoam<br />
campaign to mark the 90thanniversary of theKinder Mass<br />
Trespass. Local collaborators include Heist Brew Co, Saint<br />
Mars of the Desert,LostIndustry, Abbeydale Brewery,Hop<br />
Hideout,and Sheffield Feminist Archive.<br />
Vinyl lovers are in for atreat with the Chesterfield Record<br />
Fair on Chesterfield Market.<br />
The monthly fair is open from 9am to 3pm and there are<br />
more than40traders from around thecountryselling records<br />
to suit every taste.<br />
As well as vinyl thereisa range of CDs,DVDsaswellasRock<br />
and PopMemorabilia. Something for every music and film<br />
buff.<br />
The Chesterfield Record Fair is organised by AA Record Fairs<br />
Chesterfield residents canparkfor freetocometothe event<br />
on theSunday with their residents’ parkingpermit.<br />

We’ll bejoined byprofessional science communicator Ian<br />
Russell (also known to many as Bigbubbleman) who’ll be<br />
inspiring young (and older!) inquisitive minds.<br />
There’ll be scheduledoutdoor launches of water bombs from<br />
areplicasiege trebuchet*, childrencan have agoatshooting<br />
pop bottle waterrockets into thesky andthere will be a<br />
paper plane catapult,aswellasdo-it-yourself bubble making.<br />
Inside therewill be avarietyofsimple scientific<br />
demonstrations and drop-in activities, many of whichcan be<br />
repeated at home afterwards, such as the Cartesian<br />
naughtiness-detector, the hovering poo bag, the Spinning<br />
Top Circus, smoke-rings from abottle,the aircannon,the<br />
toilet-roll teaser, the ping pong and paper popper, whirling<br />
water, the single-sided sheet of paper,red-cabbage colour<br />
magic,the reactiontester, strawsqueakers andarmpit fairy!<br />
Theseinteractive sessions are free withfarm park entry.<br />

Founded in 1864, Sheffield Photographic Society is one of<br />
the oldest suchsocieties in theworld. Each year, it<br />
showcases the work of its members with apublic<br />
exhibition. Afteratwo yearhiatus,the exhibition back in<br />
the city centre in <strong>2022</strong>.<br />
Around 170 images will be on display, in categories include<br />
juniors, beginners,photo essay,natural history, and more.<br />
Images will alsoinclude the trophy winners from 2020 and<br />
2021,onshowtothe public for the first time.<br />
Marilyn Roberts, President of the YorkshirePhotography<br />
Union, will officially open the Exhibition at 12pm on 25<br />
<strong>March</strong>. Societymembers will be on hand at various times<br />
throughout theexhibition's runtoanswer any questions.<br />
