More than 3,400 published articles in more than 460 magazines, coverage in 46 countries,
independent tests and innovation reports. The balance of an IFOY participation is impressive.
Whoever makes it to the final is world-famous overnight in the logistics scene.
But how do you get to the finals? First, you have to apply, and that goes quickly. Here are
the most important tips and steps.

Manufacturers of materials
handling technology, robotics, intralogistics
and software providers as well as
start-ups with any number of products or
solutions can apply for an IFOY AWARD.
Anyone who wants to take part must
first register an application at www.ifoy.
org. This requires contact details as well
as the type and name of the product or
solution. This registration is necessary because
an individual input mask is created
for each application, in which the required
data can be entered individually.
When registering an application, one
has the choice of specifying one or more
categories. In the case of a nomination,
the IFOY organisation decides on
the final assignment to a category.
At the latest 24 hours after the application
registration, the access data to the
entry form will be sent by e-mail, and you
can start.
Important:
Once an application
has been submitted, it cannot be withdrawn
by the applicant. Only the jury can
withdraw a nomination in exceptional
cases and upon request if there are
serious reasons. These include insolvency
of the applicant, patent disputes, quality
problems or inability to deliver.
While entering data, applicants can
already see how their application looks
in the front end of the website. This view
is later made available to the jury and is

who is free to change the content at any

limited. An application must be entered in
German and also in English. Essentially,
the following contents are the main focus
of an application:
Striking headline
Meaningful summary
Clear description of the innovation and
the customer benefits
Technical data, videos and images
In the case of a solution, a case study
with a maximum of 7,000 characters is
required.
It is advisable to answer the questions as
briefly, comprehensibly and strikingly as
possible. It is not important that a lot of
text is written. On the contrary, it is crucial
that the texts are clearly structured,
for example by points, and that the jury
recognises the innovation and its value
for the users at first glance.
