The Arctic global change
impacts.
The Danish monitoring service Polar Portal, which is part of
the World Meteorological Organization's (WMO) annual state
of the climate report, warned that 2021 added to the preceding
24 years of steady loss from Greenland's glaciers.
A new report from the Polar Gateway explains that the start
of the 2021 boreal summer was cold and wet, with unusually
heavy and late snowfall in June, delaying the start of the
Greenland ice melt season.

of the glaciers.
