Co-curricular work in Drama is seen as essential to the success of the department providing opportunities for all of our
students to take part in performances if they wish to. Every lunchtime and after school there is a rehearsal of some kind
taking place in The Antony Barnard Theatre and frequently the dance studio too. There are numerous shows across the
academic year and our close proximity to London enables trips to see stage shows in the city all year round.

Design Technology
Design and Technology is about providing opportunities for students to develop their capability, combining their designing
and making skills with knowledge and understanding in order to create quality products.
DT CLUB
The DT club is an opportunity for
students to take the lead on a personal
project they are interested in designing
and making in the workshop. Students
will be supported in using a variety of
different manufacturing techniques
from hand skills through to 3D printing
in bringing their ideas to life.
TEXTILES CLUB
An introduction to using the sewing
machine, decorative techniques and
pattern production will help develop a
range of skill sets. Students will
produce a range of different products
developing their manufacturing skills in
textiles including tote bags and
seasonal items throughout the year.
