We asked and you delivered! Here are the
winners of our Sussex photo competition as
judged by professional, local photographer
Sophie Ward
Back in May, we invited you to send us
photographs with the theme of “The
Best Thing About Sussex”. We loved
receiving all your shots and because
we thought they were all beautiful, we
asked Sussex photographer Sophie Ward to help
us judge the winner.
Sophie worked as a professional photographer in
London’s newsrooms and magazines for 20 years.
She started her own photography business in
2007 after moving out of London to Broadbridge
Heath near Horsham in West Sussex.
“When I first moved here, I was instantly
welcomed by the people of Broadbridge Heath.
My husband and I have fallen in love with West
Sussex. We feel very lucky to be bringing our
children up here”.
Nowadays you will find Sophie shooting for
businesses and weddings in the south east
of England and recently running business
photography workshops for Horsham District
Council. And she’s been kind enough to provide a
little bit of feedback too.
So to the results and our winning 5 and top 10
photos! Thank you to everyone who submitted a
photo, we can’t share them all here, but we will
post them on our social media with full credit to
you, of course!
