Thank You Page ___________________________________________________________________________ _____________________ From Joyce Parker It may have been a Mother’s Day Luncheon, but what made it special was the Teakwood Village fathers. The adorable kitchen staff, headed by Roland Lausier, included Claude LaJoie, Bob LaPorte, and Hugh Austin. Also adding greatly to the whole luncheon were the Dining Room Angels who served the meal: Ray Carreira, Marty Feinstein, Bert Boyer, Jerry Yetter, Bill Gagnon, and our newest home owner, Lionel Gagne. Thank you, Boys! I must also mention Harriet and Estelle who came to my last cry for help, and rescue me they did! Thank you, Girls! And one last note of thanks goes to Harold Voigt, Paul Fadden, Hank Sauer, and Bert Boyer for handing out the fl owers to all the women at the luncheon. A Note from the Social Club Board of Directors and Chairpersons We want to thank you for your support this past year, and we wish everyone a very pleasant and healthy summer. Until we meet again in the fall as one happy family, drive safely and carefully. From Jim and Betty Flanary We would like to thank everyone for your prayers and sympathy after our son Jim’s accidental death. The loss of a child is beyond words, but our wonderful memories will keep us going. Also, a special ‘thanks’ to Claire Kanan for keeping everyone informed about his condition while he was in the hospital. We are truly glad to live in a community like this where everyone cares. Many, many thanks. From Flo Monk Thanks to all my Teakwood friends for their get-well cards. It has been quite a different life with lots of changes for me. I am still getting some therapy, but I am also doing well. It would have been my 31st year in Teakwood this coming February! Thank you again, your friend, Florence Monk.
