JACK FROST AND

THE SEARCH FOR

WINTER

Sunday 13th November

11am and 2pm

£11 Adult

£9 Child

£35 Family

Age 3+

Jack Frost is a mischievous

young boy with a frozen

touch. His magic transforms

the landscape and brings the

colours of autumn with the

chill of cold winter. He

freezes the orange and red

leaves and covers the trees

and ground with a glistening

blanket of ice and snow.

But this year when the snow

begins to melt Jack’s magic

fades, turning him into just

an ordinary boy.

In this wintery tale, Jack

searches for winter and

attempts to restore his

special gift. Circling the

globe, he meets characters

who share their own

seasonal winter magic, but

will Jack’s return?

Join tutti frutti for an

enchanting new play by

playwright Joseph Coelho

with important environmental

themes and original live

music.

EXHIBITION ON

SCREEN: MUNCH

Sunday 13th November

7.30pm

£9 Standard

£8 Courthouse Friends

In 2013, all of Norway

celebrated the 150th

anniversary of the birth of

Edvard Munch (1863 –

1944), one of the towering

figures of modern art.

Global interest was huge –

not least as a result of one of

his four The Scream

paintings having recently set

a public art auction record

of $120 million. Munch 150

was co-hosted by the

National Museum and the

Munch Museum in Oslo.

With 220 paintings on

show, it brought together the

greatest number of Munch’s

key works in one place.

This film went behind-thescenes

to show some of the

process of putting the

exhibition together – as well

as providing an in-depth

biography of a man who

lived from the mid-19th

century right through to the

German occupation of

Norway in the Second

World War. This is your

opportunity to enjoy a 'oncein-a-lifetime

show' all over

again.
