Chris Difford is a

Grammy nominated and

double Ivor Novello

Award winning lyricist

who has brought us

characters and sketches

from everyday life,

successfully turning the

mundane into the

beautiful and the urbane

into the exquisite, for

over forty years.

As the co-founder of

new-wave royalty

Squeeze, Chris has

cowritten some of the most

enduring and best-loved

songs of our time such as

Up The Junction, Cool For

Cats, Labelled With Love,

Tempted and more. He's

even penned classics for the

likes of Elvis Costello,

Elton John and his former

bandmate Jools Holland.

Chris hosts songwriting

retreats and has done so

for over 25 years,

some in prisons, some in

rehabs, but mostly in

Somerset with the Buddy

Holly Foundation.

Support comes from folk

singer songwriter

Yvonne Lyon.

Inspired by Maeterlinck’s

Bluebird, this show raises

important philosophical

questions for children and

adults within a compelling,

interactive quest adventure.

What is the bluebird and

where could it be hiding? In

the Land of Memory, the

Future, the Land of Luxury or

has it flown to the Land of

Night? Or have we simply

lost the ability to see or hear

it?

‘A Company with wit,

invention & oodles of charm.’

– The Guardian

'Tell Tale Hearts present truly

inspiring shows for children

that involve the audience in a

uniquely thrilling way'. - Ian

McMillan, broadcaster &

Poet

Veteran entertainer Terry

Brook formed a Skiffle

group with his sister in 1957.

Next thing he knew, he was

playing bass for the

Shadows’ Jet Harris and

touring with Little Richard,

Sam Cook, Gene Vincent

and Del Shannon. The

Beatles even joined for a

show in The Beatles joined

for a show at the Liverpool

Empire.

Turning to comedy in the

late 1960's, he became

frontman with the Rockin

Berries. There were TV

appearances and seasons at

the London Palladium

supporting Tom Jones and

Frankie Vaughen followed

by a tour with Sacha Distel

and Olivia Newton John.

Now, after a successful solo

career, Terry's teamed up

with his son Terry Jr. to bring

you the very best of the

Everly Brothers. This is a

‘one night only’

extravaganza of nostalgia, a

celebration of rock ‘n’ roll

era with sharp harmonies

and even sharper suits.
