rak Tayakadın, Yeniköy, Terkos, Karaburun kapsayan
alan seçilmiştir. Araştırma içerisinde, yerden
elde edilen ve kuzey İstanbul’un değişiminin plan
ölçeğindeki süreci göz önünde bulundurularak,
projelerin coğrafyayı ve yereli nasıl şekillendirdiği
üzerinde durulmuştur.
“Yürüyüş” bölümünde, kuzey İstanbul’u tanımak,
anlamak ve tartışmak için kullanılan eleştirel yürüyüş
kavramı ve metodolojisine odaklanılmıştır.
Yürümek ve mekânsal değişim arasındaki ilişkiler
temel olarak verilmiştir. Yürümenin sadece bir
yerden bir yere gitmek için yapılan bir eylem olmasından
öte, kentle, düşünmeyle ve eleştirmeyle
olan ilişkisi tartışılmıştır.
“Haritalama” bölümünde yürümek ve haritalama
arasındaki ilişkiye değinilmiştir. Bu bölümde, üst
ölçekten bakmak ve insan ölçeğinden deneyimlemek
arasındaki ilişki, karşıtlıklar ve beraber
kullanılmasının yaratacağı durumlar tartışmaya
açılmıştır. Üst ölçekte varmış gibi konuştuğumuz
mega projeler ve bunların söylemsel varlıklarının
Terkos and Karaburun was chosen as a case area.
In the research, it is emphasized how the projects
shape the geography and locality, considering the
process of the change of northern Istanbul at the
plan scale, which is obtained from the ground.
In “Walking”, the focus is on the critical walking
concept and methodology used to get to know,
understand and discuss northern Istanbul. The
relationships between walking and spatial change
are given as a basis. Beyond the fact that walking
is just an action to go from one place to another,
its relationship with the city, thinking and criticism
is discussed.
In “Mapping”, the relationship between walking
and mapping is mentioned. In this section,
the relationship between looking from a higher
scale and experiencing from a human scale, the
contrasts and the situations that can be created
by using them together are open to discussion. It
has been tried to think through maps and walks
that mega project that we talk about as if they
