With almost 180 entries at an extremely cold and misty
Chestnut Hill MX Park, the day got underway almost an
hour late, while we waited for the mist to lift enough to
allow the riders to get on with their practice laps. Most
of the starts had gates of enthusiastic competitors
who were itching to race after the mornings delays.
The ladies again held their own, with eighteen ladies
competing for top honours on the day.
The125cc and support classes are getting stronger
with around 30 riders in each class. Fantastic racing
was had by all as we chased the early sunset. Prize
giving, (post Covid restrictions), was well attended with
great support for all of the competitors.
