WARD 10

cllr David McGonigle

I was delighted to be elected in the recent Council

election and am hugely grateful to everyone that

voted for me and for all the notes of congratulations.

I will endeavour to work hard on my election priorities.

My priorities are:- Saving greenbelt areas from development, ensuring

proper services and infrastructure for new housing developments are

in place, investment in improving road surfaces, opposing increases in

council tax and tackling antisocial behaviour.

This month a number of constituents have contacted me about

antisocial behaviour. This includes increased levels of graffiti, quad

bikes on the cycle paths, fly-tipping and vandalism of life belt stations.

I have been working closely with community safety officers at the

council and local police officers on these issues.

It was great to attend Brookfield Gala day on Saturday 20th August,

thankfully the weather cleared up just in time for the festivities to

commence.

Surgeries: Brookfield Village Hall, 43 Woodside Road, Brookfield.

29th August @ 3pm, 28th Nov @ 3pm, 27th Feb @ 3pm,

28th May @ 3pm
