Meta set to unveil sprawling 

artworks of individual artists in 

their New York HQ in Moynihan Station 

Meta, the parent company 

of Facebook is the tenant 

of a transformed former 

post office which now 

includes the gleaming new transit 

hub Moynihan Station. A team of 

artists is helping Meta to get ready to 

welcome its employees to their new 

offices at Farley Station on the West 

Side of midtown Manhattan this fall 

with sprawling landscape art. For the 

artists, this stands to be the largest 

artwork they have ever worked on in 

their careers. 

Meta occupies 700,000 square 

feet and has commissioned five 

specific artworks from emerging and 

established artists who have roots in 

the local community. The results so 

far have been nothing short of mindblowing. 

The Farley Station building is 

an important center for people to 

connect and communicate with each 

other. To Meta Open Arts head Tina 

Vaz, it is a special feeling. This site is 

special because of the works of art 

that have been installed here. 

At the center of the building, is 

artist Timur Si-Qin’s Sacred Footprint, 

a 50-foot tall, two-ton, stainless steel 

and aluminum, suspended sculpture, 

that he created and engineered 

to span the four-story skylit space. 

Building on the ancient symbol of 

the Tree of Life, it represents the 

interconnectedness of all things. 

Baseera Khan created a two-part 

installation that includes a major 

sculpture and a mural located in 

the main area of the second-floor 

offices. Fresh from her solo show 

at the Brooklyn Museum, the large 

sculpture references a Corinthian 

column and is composed of a 

hollowed-out column form, the 

exterior of which is wrapped in 

handmade silk rugs created by men 

and women in Kashmir. 

Nature Remembers Love, is meant 

“to evoke an empathetic relationship 

with plants, other animals and the 

land,” according to Howard. 

In the building’s “Ring Lobby”, 

which is visible from the waiting 

area of the Moynihan train hall, 

Brooklyn-based artist Liz Collins has 

composed vibrantly-colored textiles 

to create a sprawling installation 

across four walls spanning more than 

100 feet in length. 

Matthew Kirk’s composition of A 

Shadow of a Shadow, which spans 

22 feet in length, and A Distant Lie, 

which measures eight feet across 

and 11 feet high is a sight to behold. 

Kirk’s “weaving” paintings for Meta 

rely on the same grid structure as the 

Navajo rugs of his heritage but use 

modern-day construction materials 

woven through a steel rebar grid as 

the ground for the hundreds of small 

paintings that adorn these works, 

according to Vaz. 

Open Arts were initially founded 

in 2010 as a residency program 

at Facebook. Artists were 

commissioned to create work 

along with employees on-site at the 

company’s headquarters, giving 

Facebook workers insight into the 

artistic process. 

In the end, this is not the makings 

of an art exhibition but rather a 

space where the artists who call this 

place home have a blank canvas to 

share their heritage with their local 

community.

he faces as a person and shares his 

creativity and beauty through art. 

With the pandemic giving millions 

of people the right opportunity to 

explore their hobbies and passion, 

Hakeem tapped into his creative 

side and took up painting. He 

quickly gravitated towards abstract 

art and cubic art. 

His paintings were displayed 

at Markaz Al-Oun Bazaar, a help 

center and non-profit organization 

that helps people with intellectual 

disabilities. In the future, he wants to 

have his gallery. 

His passion for 

art has allowed 

him to share who 

he is with the 

people around 

him, and has 

impressed people 

with his take on 

abstract art. 

Meet Saudi Artist 

Ahmed Hakeem, 

who impressed the audience 

with his art overcoming his 

disabilities 

Art is truly a gateway to 

discovering who you 

are. For a 34-year-old, 

Ahmed Hakeem this is 

true. 

Ahmed Hakeem, unlike the 

usual roster of artists, has a mild 

intellectual disability, which results 

in slower growth in all areas of 

conceptual development including 

social and daily living skills. 

But he has found a way to 

overcome this and express his core 

personality, which is of an artist. His 

As Hakeem puts it, finding jobs 

is difficult for individuals with 

disabilities. He says “You need to 

know about the challenges that 

I am having with the community 

in general. Most people with 

disabilities are usually unemployed 

and don’t have access to powerful 

governmental aid, but their families 

have to enroll them in special clubs, 

and this can be financially stressful 

to the parents, so there is a lack of 

community and activities for us,” 

For Ahmed Hakeem, his passion 

for art has allowed him to share who 

he is with the people around him, 

and has impressed people with his 

take on abstract art.

we pause to look”, says 

Ibrahim. 

- Exclusive to Magzoid 

Ibrahim Gailani is a self-taught 

contemporary artist of Pakistani 

decent who moved to Dubai, 

U.A.E in 1979 at the age of 5 

years. “There is art everywhere, 

only if we pause to look”, says 

Ibrahim. 

He did his primary & secondary 

education in UAE and has been 

living in Gulf countries most of his 

life, from U.A.E to Kuwait, and for 

12 years in Muscat, Oman. Gailani 

started his professional career in 

2010 with the “Gailani Art Studio” 

participating in Art Exhibitions and 

founding the “Gailani Art Retreat”. 

A creative getaway of selfexpression 

using painting and music. 

The retreats engaged more than 

900 participants over 60 art retreats 

since its inception. Gailani’s paintings 

are exhibited in the Middle-East, 

Europe & North America. His recent 

work is known for its pop-art inspired 

portraits with street graffiti lettering. 

“Our stories are on our face, if only 

people paused to look and read” 

says Ibrahim. 

He has had over 21 

International Art Exhibitions 

in the past 11 years, 

winning 2 International 

Art Awards – 2 in New 

York, U.S.A, and 2 in 

Vancouver, Canada in 

September 2016. His 

work exhibited in New 

York Coffee Art Festival 

won the Visitor Choice 

Award. The same month 

he published his book 

“Gailani - An Artistic 

Journey” - A memoir 

of his life story told 

through paintings. 

In December 2017, his paintings 

“The Refugee” won the Jury word 

for 3rd Annual “Show Your World Art 

Competition” showcased at Gallery 

MC, New York City. He was also 

awarded Best International Artist at 

Art Vancouver in 2018. 

In December 2018, he debuted 

his art work at Red Dot Miami during 

the Art Basek Week, and then at 

Art Wynwood in February 2019. He 

also won Best International “Artist of 

Honor” at Campbell River Winter Art 

Festival, British Columbia, Canada in 

November 2018. Gulf News of Dubai 

did a special feature on Gailani with 

the title “Artist Puts Oman on the 

Global Stage”. 

In June 2020, his work was 

published in the “Art of Sherlock 

Holmes” - Global Edition 2 becoming 

one of the 13 international artists 

featuring there. During the pandemic 

lockdowns Ibrahim Gailani launched 

a video Web-Series “Art-Beats” that 

interviewed artists and showcased 

art activities to motivate them.

The Consulate General of India, Dubai celebrates 

Divya Chakra 2022 as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit 

Mahotsav marking 75 years of Independence. 

Witnessing an exhibit of 75 artworks by artists from over ten nationalities, alongside panel 

discussions, trivia, digital tributes, cultural performances, and much more amidst the 

presence of ministries and highly renowned dignitaries. 

22nd Aug, 2022: Divya Chakra 

2022 marks a true and grand 

celebration of the spirit of India in 

the UAE. It was presented by the 

Consulate General of India, Dubai, 

and the Private Office of HH Sheikh 

Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, 

organized by Artoze Gallery and 

Exhibitions. 

The event featured an exceptional 

exhibit of 75 selected artworks by 

artists of multiple nationalities. The 

celebration also featured LIVE art 

performances by dignified artists, 

which included Dr. Ajit Gadekar,. 

Amal Mirajkar, Raisa Mariam Rajan, 

and Dr. Devisree. The LIVE rangoli 

made by Jyoti Manish Rajyaguru, 

which was a treat to the eyes under 

the theme “Ek Rangoli Desh ke 

Naam”. 

“Divya Chakra 2022 is an event to 

welcome diversity and bring people 

together to celebrate the 75 glorious 

years of Independence of India. We 

announced the Virtual Art Gallery, 

where artists from around the globe 

could send in their artworks and 

be a part of this historic moment. 

Not just that, the Digital Tribute 

was announced for everyone to 

send in their heartfelt tribute to the 

martyrs, which was displayed on 

screens across the venue,” says a 

spokesperson from Artoze Gallery 

and Exhibitions. Such creative 

and thoughtful digital elements 

made this event a one of its kind 

celebration of this special occasion. 

It enabled people to connect with 

the celebration irrespective of their 

nationality and country of residence. 

Divya Chakra 2022 also included 

a dance performance by NKD 

Dance Studio led by Dubai-based 

dancer, actor, and influencer, Nidhi 

Kumar, and a musical tribute by 

Antara Institutions led by Bagavad 

EEswar. Hosted by Emcee Bassam, 

the audience had an amazing time 

enjoying the performances and 

also winning some exciting goodies 

during the course of the event. 

A panel discussion was hosted 

where the panellists discussed 

the artistic excellence of India.

seen heartily interacting with artists 

exhibiting their work. Many artists 

gifted their brilliant art pieces to the 

consulate during the event.

Honey Taheri, is a 

resident artist with 

over 20 years of 

experience in various 

fields of art such as Resin 

art, acrylic painting, Abstract, 

Mixed media. Although Art 

was a part of her life since 

childhood, she was an Electrical 

Engineer initially. And she has 

been a mother in 2010, so she 

continues art and creations to 

spend time with her beautiful 

daughter instead of having a 

full-time job. She has 

experience as a teacher of the 

new amazing art- “Resin Art” for 

more than 3 years. 

Other than her art exhibit and 

presence at Divya Chakra 2022, 

Honey also received a lot of 

appreciation for her exhibit in 

the World Art Dubai Exhibition 

2021.

UAE based Indian artist, 

Maria Komal Abie, has 

been making her mark in 

the art world lately by not 

only winning numerous accolades 

for her artistic skills, one of which is 

the Honorable Mention Award at an 

International Juried Art Competition 

organised by Art Show International 

in August 2022, but for also having 

completed several commissions and 

exhibitions in India and in the UAE. 

Her ideas and paintings have gained 

the attention of a global audience as 

she has proven to be a multi-faceted 

artist who captures the essence 

of a subject and converts it into 

captivating pieces of art work.

ARTISTS IN FOCUS I DIVYA CHAKRA 2022 

Amal Mirajkar is a 17-yearold 

self-taught artist. She 

graduated high school 

from Gems Our Own 

English High School in 2022 and is 

currently persuading her studies in 

the Architectural department of the 

College of Architecture, Art and Design 

(CAAD) at the American University of 

Sharjah. She is a versatile artist who 

works with oils, acrylic, ink, epoxy

artist 'Michael Angelo 

Guadalupe' is better known 

by his stage name, Mago. 

He was born in New York 

and, when still a little child, his 

family relocated to Puerto Rico. He 

specializes in employing artificial 

intelligence to produce stunning 

and distinctive graphics that narrate 

tales from old myths, religions, and 

histories. 

He was raised in housing 

complexes where he was always 

surrounded by inconveniences. 

Mago was taken away from his family 

when he was 7 years old and placed 

in a foster home. He came across 

literature about tales and legends 

from the past during this time, which 

would come to define his life and 

serve as the basis for his artistic 

creations. 

He relocated to Miami after 

graduating from high school, where 

he was exposed to music industry 

artists and art galleries. He relocated 

to Chile after being signed as an 

artist. The vastness of the Andes 

would capture his imagination and 

motivate him to build fantastical 

worlds and landscapes. "I aspire

by a massive ring, 

‘Downtown Circle’ that is 550 

meters above the ground in a 

striking new design

by the architecture firm 

Znera Space would 

alter the Dubai skyline. 

Downtown Circle, a 

550-meter-tall ring that will encircle 

Burj Khalifa, is the name of the 

proposed project. The idea is 

meant to challenge conventional 

notions of skyscraper housing and 

gated communities. Additionally, 

sustainability and self-sufficiency 

are goals. 

The remarkable size of the 

tower, which is expected to have a 

three-kilometer circumference and 

encircle the entirety of Downtown 

Dubai, is seen in artist renderings. 

It will be divided into smaller parts, 

each of which will have residences 

as well as areas for public, 

commercial, and cultural use.

Saudi Arabia is comparable to the 

concept of an autonomous city 

within a city. The Line, which is 

intended to be created in the desert 

where space is ample, differs from 

Znera Space in that it is integrated 

into the fabric of an existing 

metropolis. 

While creating Downtown Circle, 

Chowdry and Remess took into 

account all facets of urban living, 

including the social, economical, 

and sustainable ones, but they are 

equally excited by the conversation 

about what is feasible in terms of 

design.

James Lewis, a 25-year-old 

graphic artist from Cardiff, 

Wales, curates content and 

creates famous cartoon 

characters for his social 

media followers on TikTok and 

Instagram. With clients like Pepsi, 

Wix.com, BBC, Samsung, and so 

many more, one can understand the 

passion and skill James brings to the 

scene with his artwork. 

Calligraphy is James' preferred 

weapon of choice as he shares 

his creativity with the world. After 

losing his parents to natural causes, 

he found the creative route to be 

a positive way to look forward in 

life. Crediting Lynne Appleyard 

from Barry Island, from whom he 

rented a place to stay, gave him the 

courage to experiment and forge his 

future. That is where he started with 

typography and lettering, which has 

now garnered popularity on social 

media and amongst clients that have 

become frequent collaborators with 

James. 

Collaboration with brands is the 

real identity of James. Recently, 

he had the opportunity to design 

Rolls Royce’s logo on their SUV 

for an internal event. For Rick and 

Morty fans, he is the artist behind 

composing Season 5’s awareness 

launch social media art. 

Right now, he works from a 

permanent studio space at Cardiff 

Museum Place, with a packed 

schedule from 9 AM to 6 PM. James 

confesses that during the early days, 

creating art to earn enough through 

commissions was a challenge. But, 

with time and personal branding, he 

has been able to forget about the 

problem altogether and focus on 

improving the quality of his work. 

“The key to making good content 

is consistently putting out content 

that you enjoy making,” says James. 

In 2020, he changed his focus to 

content creation and character 

painting full time, which he shares 

with his followers on TikTok and 

Instagram. During this year, James 

founded Precise Art, which strives to 

solve every budding artist’s problem 

- finding the right materials to use. 

Sharing his tips and choices of 

brushes and paints encourages new 

artists on the block to jump right into 

composing their artworks.

James Lewis recently launched his 

first exclusive 3D font, Versa which 

has been bought by designers all 

over the world. With this massive

brushes. 

Today, James is thinking about his 

future and has aspirations to expand 

his product range. He also wishes 

to continue running workshops to 

help and inspire other budding

into his experience as a keynote 

speaker at the Made by Few creative 

conferences in Arkansas, James

Meta continues its push into the

With Make-A-Scene, it allows users to create Computergenerated 

images based on their own sketches. 

Make-A-Scene takes 

generative art one 

step further. Using the 

typical text-to-image 

generator and adding 

another layer of ‘awesomeness’ 

Meta AI, the artificial intelligence 

branch of Facebook’s part company 

allows for user to draw a freeform 

digital sketch of a scene for the 

generator to use as a base to 

generate the final image. 

Meta AI, had recently published 

a report compiling its findings with 

the software and how its customers 

reacted to the facilities. “Our model 

generates an image given a text 

input and an optional scene layout,” 

the report reads. “As demonstrated 

in our experiments, by conditioning 

over the scene layout, our method 

provides a new form of implicit 

controllability, improves structural 

consistency and quality, and 

adheres to human preference.” 

Generative art has come a 

long way, and as a medium has 

been enjoying its heyday in the 

mainstream. 

The blog, published by Meta AI, 

continues “To realize AI’s potential 

to push creative expression forward, 

people should be able to shape 

and control the content a system 

generates. It should be intuitive and 

easy to use so people can leverage 

whatever modes of expression work 

best for them.” “Imagine creating 

beautiful impressionist paintings in 

compositions you envision without 

ever picking up a paintbrush,” 

the post continued. “Or instantly 

generating imaginative storybook 

illustrations to accompany the 

words.” 

Make-A-Scene is also able to 

generate its own scene layout with 

text-only prompts, if that is the 

requirement of the user. 

The software is yet to go live to the 

public. Though it has been rolled 

out to a few developers, the idea is 

to understand the limitations of the 

software and fine tune them for the 

general public. The beauty of this 

generator is the fact that any artist is 

quite literally dipping their brushes 

into the mind of a machine (the color 

pot) and painting with the machine’s 

consciousness. 

The importance of this software 

cannot be overstated. Having such 

a medium of expression enables 

the everyday art enthusiast to find 

the time to explore their creative 

sides, and that is what Make- 

A-Scene provides. This stands 

revolutionize ways in which creativity 

is expressed and an opportunity for 

art to become more inclusive to the

who has defined cubism

Gill acquired a passion for art as

a grand entrance with her 

signature hit -- ‘Crazy Kiya

2’ in the recent ‘Sunidhi Chauhan 

Live Concert' held at the Coco 

Cola Arena in Dubai on the 13th of 

August 2022. 

She is well known for her 

strong and brassy voice, and the

thumping roar. Hundreds of music 

fans experienced a non-stop 

rendition of some iconic Bollywood 

numbers from Chauhan with a bass 

guitar that hit all the right chords 

and a percussionist who struck the

The musical night that felt like 

an electrifying rock concert was

entire audience was swaying and 

dancing through the three-hour

Sunidhi celebrated her birthday

(Dostana). From the ages of 16 to 

60, the concert saw women stand 

up and sportingly bust a few of

coming weeks. These initiatives 

are steps towards ushering the 

Metaverse into the daily lives of 

people to bolster and augment 

communities and events alike. 

Technologies like the Metaverse 

and blockchain operate seamlessly 

to introduce a better quality of life 

for their users. Let's take the gaming 

industry, for example. An industry 

that is set to be valued at $321 billion 

by 2026 stands to benefit through 

such technologies. There are easier 

ways to animate and create games 

and more immersive media through 

which one can experience the 

stories created by the developers.

Rohit Rao is an enthusiastic 

fine artist who has worked 

on more than 500 projects 

in Dubai over the course 

of his 16-year career as a 

3D Art Director and 3D Generalist in 

the event business, TV commercials, 

and 3D animation. 

Since he was a young boy, 

Rohit has been enamored by the 

complicated Japanese technique of 

origami. He realized his next huge 

project, which is a sight to behold, 

as he was teaching the skill to his 

daughter. He received the First 

rank in his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 

Applied Arts studies. In all of his 

work, he strives to produce an artistic 

outcome. 

He has completed more than 500 

projects in Dubai throughout his 16 

years as a 3D Art Director. 

He is currently a full-time freelance 

artist who, in the true spirit of Dubai, 

loves to combine technology with art 

in his work! His next task is to bring 

this online-created fantasy picture to 

life. “Everything in origami depends

footage I was able to accomplish 

my daughter's wish. One day I wish 

to see this fantasy in reality.” Says

Numerous videos related to 

his freelancing and interests are 

available on his YouTube channel. 

Although it largely concerns Dubai 

and the United Arab Emirates, his 

work also covers other nations, 

charitable causes including 

environmental awareness, and 

other topics. 

With his artistic and technical 

abilities, there is where he found the 

inspiration and the idea. He made 

the choice to make one. He was 

able to fulfil his daughter's request 

by using stock film, 3D, and other

as the rise of bio art in response 

to scientific research in the life 

sciences, and relational aesthetics, 

a critical theory that arose in 

response to an increase in art that 

invites viewers' participation and 

interaction. 

Semiotics, post-modernism, and 

feminism, among other subjects 

that were hotly debated in the late 

twentieth century, are still relevant 

to the study of twenty-first-century 

art and visual culture. 

The art of the twenty-first century 

is made up of a wide range of 

materials and methods. These 

include cutting-edge technology 

innovations like digital imaging and 

the Internet, as well as well-known 

genres with a lengthy history that 

are still pursued with zeal, such as 

painting. 

The visual arts landscape

In recent times, artist Vaskange 

posted his work of art in Twitter 

with the caption “The original video 

of my artwork here. Stay tuned, to 

discover more infinite stories!” this 

video of intriguing and exciting 

creation of a digital artist has 

caught the internet by storm. The 

video takes us on a journey with 

the artist through endless zoom-ins 

that allows the artist to tell ‘infinite 

stories.’ 

We can see a person zooming 

in on points of focus on a painting 

only to discover another scene 

nestled effortless inside the screen. 

We realize that with digital art, 

artists can dive deeper into how 

they can tell a story with colors. 

For Vaskange, he talks about his 

vacations in these scenes. 

The artist describes his work 

as follows “I drew a new story in 

a photo of my office to tell you 

about my vacation. The excitement 

of leaving when you pack your 

suitcase, then the trip, the travel. 

You are already starting to release 

the pressure a little bit, and then 

explorations that you do to discover 

new places, and when you come 

across absolutely grandiose 

landscapes that you did not 

suspect. But for me, the holidays 

are also the sun of the islands and 

the small pretty villages where you 

have the impression that time has 

stopped.” 

The most fascinating element of 

this work is that the art does not 

pixelate. Pixelation is a real problem 

for our daily appetite for social 

media. Videos or images which are 

pixelated also knows as the lack 

of sharpness and the presence of 

weird-looking boxes are something 

that any of us doesn’t want. This is 

where the magic happens, as the 

art maintains its initial high quality 

throughout the process. 

It’s hard to have not found this 

video in your feed in the past few 

days. This video is a true testament 

to the potential of digital art as 

a unique and powerful tool to 

rediscover storytelling through art.

Patricia Ochudlo is an 

emerging fine artist from 

Germany. Internationally

vibrant patterns blend on her canvas,

Alvaro Castagnet was born 

in Montevideo, in the 

beautiful South American 

country of Uruguay. His 

early interest in art was 

cultivated mainly by his father, who 

sent him to the National School of Art 

in Montevideo at a very young age 

where he was taught by Professor 

Esteban Garino. 

He carried on his formal education 

in art at the Fine Arts University, 

where Miguel Angel Pareja was 

his oil painting tutor. “Painting is an 

illusion, art is inside” says Alvaro. 

Alvaro migrated to Australia in 

1983, and lived there enjoying the 

cosmopolitan and forward-looking 

attitude of that country for 20 years. 

The artist is fluent in Spanish, Italian, 

and English and currently lives in 

Montevideo, Uruguay. 

He has been holding solo 

exhibitions since 1985, and has been 

recognized with dozens of awards 

over the last 30 years. 

He is the author of the out-ofprint, 

“Watercolor Painting with 

Passion”, “Painting with Passion – 

Beyond Technique” & “Watercolour 

Masterclass” books. Alvaro is 

featured in innumerable art books, 

videos, DVDs and acclaimed 

international art publications.

Cortez, the artist 

who transformed the 

Volcanic eruption of AD 

431 to a metal sculpture 

Beatriz Cortez’s piece, 

Ilopango, Stela A (2022) 

evokes the history of 

Earth with the concepts 

of meteorites, igneous 

rock, and Mayan artifacts. This 

sculpture is part of Cortez’s stained, 

weathered metal sculptures on 

display at the Commonwealth & 

Council in Los Angeles. Her choice 

of medium welded steel builds on a 

sacred thread between geological 

matter and the migration of people 

across Earth. 

Ilopango, Stela A (2022) 

specifically considers the volcanic 

eruption of Ilopango in AD 431. A 

volcano that is now a caldera filled 

with one of El Salvador’s largest 

lakes. Cortez, who hails from El 

Salvador has researched the 

importance of the volcanic eruption 

and its impact: eradicated Mayan 

settlements, rendered the area in 

hospitality, deposited tephra as far 

as Greenland, and likely caused the 

planet’s temperature to cool. 

Her sculptures celebrate charred 

weld – which would usually be 

sanded down and reduced, acquire 

an alien beauty, traveling across 

the sculpture’s silvery surface to 

represent the vision of rivers of lava 

and tectonic plates.

serves as a connector between the 

long-standing art institutions and 

the new influx of digitalization in art. 

NFTs, known as non-fungible 

tokens, have taken on the mantle 

as a new form of art at the 

intersection of technology and art. 

NFTs are minted digitally and gain 

their value due to the nature of the 

blockchain-based origins of these 

digital art tokens. Blockchain is 

the technology that enabled the 

birth of NFTs through an artist's

I don’t actually consider myself 

a digital artist. My animations are 

based on paintings, and I’ve been

NFTs are a product of art 

enabled by technology. Riding 

on this wave of generative art, 

NFT artists has enjoyed growing 

popularity. Using artificial 

intelligence and machine learning/ 

algorithms, artists can tap into 

the power of programming to 

develop new media and add 

new interactive elements to their 

works. Such as infinite zooms, 3D 

landscapes, life-like fidelity, and so 

much more. 

Technology has changed every 

aspect of our lives, so why not art? 

We believe that NFT art stands to 

augment existing art communities 

and styles. Combining the 

creativity and ingenuity of an artist 

with a machine-learning algorithm 

to generate art in minutes allows 

for extraordinary ways for artists to 

tell stories through their paintings. 

All in all, technology and art 

are uncharted territory for all us 

art enthusiasts. We believe that 

with so many instances of NFT art 

breaking new ground in terms of 

the technology applied and the 

stories told through the works, 

we should give NFT art a chance 

to reduce the gap between 

technology and art in the 21st

Transparent Watercolor 2'”, published 

by Japan Watercolor Society, and 

“Masters of Watercolor: From East to 

West”. “The style I am seeking is the 

expressiveness combining classical 

delicacy and elegance and modern, 

abstract structures.” says Jasmine. 

Jasmine now enjoys her watercolor 

creation in Taiwan and has been 

invited to participate in major 

watercolor exhibition around the 

world.

ARCHITECTURAL WONDERS 

The National 

Museum of 

Qatar, Doha 

The National Museum of Qatar opened to the public on 

28 March 2019, replacing the previous building which 

opened in 1975. 

The building was designed by architect Jean Nouvel who 

was inspired by the desert rose crystal, which can be 

found in Qatar. 

The museum site includes Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al 

Thani's Palace, which is the heart of the Qatari national 

identity. 

A tour of the museum takes visitors through a loop of 

galleries that address three major, interrelated themes. 

The galleries are loosely arranged in chronological order.

Beijing National 

Stadium 

The National Stadium also known as the Bird's Nest 

is an 80,000-capacity stadium in Beijing. The stadium 

was jointly designed by architects Jacques Herzog and 

Pierre de Meuron. 

Located at the Olympic Green, the stadium cost 

US$428 million. The design was awarded to a 

submission from the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & 

de Meuron in April 2003. 

Jackie Chan was the first artist to hold a pop concert at 

the stadium on 2 April 2009 and on its first anniversary, 

8 August 2009, the stadium hosted a performance of 

the opera Turandot. 

The stadium was used for the opening and closing 

ceremonies of 2022 Winter Olympics and 2022 Winter 

Paralympics. It is the only stadium to host both the 

Summer and Winter Olympics and Paralympics 

opening ceremonies.
