community engagement<br />

events at <strong>Truro</strong> Farmers<br />

Market, where they have<br />

introduced the plan and<br />

spoke to members of the<br />

public about personal plans<br />

and volunteering.<br />

There will be another<br />

session at the Moresk<br />

Centre on Wednesday 21st<br />

<strong>Sept</strong>ember between 19.00<br />

and 21.00. Pop along to<br />

find out more about the<br />

community plan, what<br />

you can do to prepare for<br />

emergencies, and details<br />

on volunteer roles.<br />

Tennis Pavilion<br />

Work on the new tennis<br />

pavilion at Boscawen Park<br />

is progressing well. The<br />

windows and doors were<br />

recently fitted, and work<br />

has begun to prepare for<br />

the installation of cladding<br />

on the exterior of the<br />

building.<br />

The cladding was produced<br />

from wood from a tree that<br />

had to be removed from<br />

Boscawen Park due to<br />

safety reasons.<br />

The pavilion is due to open<br />

in <strong>Oct</strong>ober - please see our<br />
