The Wānaka Arts Labour Weekend<br />
Exhibition draws more than 100 artists<br />
from across New Zealand, with a festive<br />
opening night serving up live music, drinks,<br />

along with special guests internationally<br />
acclaimed, multidisciplinary artist Cora-<br />

of Labour Weekend, making the top<br />

TUTUS ON TOUR<br />

The Royal New Zealand Ballet’s hugely<br />
popular Tutus on Tour – a tasting menu<br />
of ballet treats – is set to once again<br />
hit stages across the country, including<br />
Christchurch November 5, Dunedin<br />
November 9 and Invercargill November<br />
12. Artistic director Patricia Barker has<br />
curated a gorgeous gala programme that<br />
showcases RNZB dancers at their very<br />
best, with beloved classical favourites<br />
alongside more recent works, including a<br />

SHREK THE MUSICAL<br />
<strong>October</strong> 4-8<br />
The wait is ogre! After captivating<br />
audiences globally since 2008, Broadway’s<br />
smash-hit production Shrek The Musical is<br />
finally headed to Christchurch. Based on<br />
the Academy Award-winning animated<br />
film, the hilarious story of everyone’s<br />
favourite ogre will be lavishly brought to<br />
life on stage at Christchurch’s iconic Isaac<br />
Theatre Royal this month. Part romance,<br />
