It’s been quite a year! We pay tribute to Her Majesty<br />
Queen Elizabeth II and wish King Charles every<br />
success in his new role. Ann Tennant, well known to all<br />
in <strong>Beaconsfield</strong> for her community spirit and service,<br />
has been awarded for her distinguished service see p8<br />
and Christmas will be upon us very soon! Join in the<br />
celebrations, with the first event in Old Town with<br />
the Christmas light switch-on (p21) and then the<br />
wonderful Festival of Lights (p5) in <strong>December</strong>.<br />
How can you not smile at the lovely market trader’s<br />
faces on the front cover of this <strong>issue</strong>? They work so<br />
hard every Tuesday so please come and support by<br />
shopping for your Christmas presents or household<br />
essentials from them.<br />
Have a thought to anyone who may be spending<br />
Christmas on their own this year, find it in your heart<br />
to help in some way, be it offering them a seat on<br />
Christmas day, to giving them a gift or donating<br />
to charity. Kindness, sharing and love is a free and<br />
precious gift you can give to anyone.<br />
