ATHLETICS
WARRIOR REPORT
Life Pacific University Athletics is in its seventh year as an intercollegiate program and fifth year in the NAIA as an
acting member in the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). WARRIOR UP!
BEACH VOLLEYBALL KICK-OFF SEASON
History was made as Spring 2022 marked the first
season of LPU Beach Volleyball. With a newly
installed sand court and an upgrade to our existing
sand court, our lady Warriors jumped right into new
domain, competing on the court and excelling in the
classroom. Seven members of the Beach Volleyball
team received GSAC awards as they earned a 3.5 or
higher cumulative GPA.
ON THE MISSION FIELD
Ryerson (‘24), Vice
President of ASG and setter
for the Warriors, crossed
borders this summer into
Greece. Global Life’s 2022
short-term team continued
a four-year partnership
between LPU and All4Aid,
a Christian non-profit
dedicated to meeting the Marissa Ryerson
physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs of women. Here’s what Marissa had
to say about her time abroad, “Through this trip, God
changed the posture of my heart to lean towards
supporting refugees in any way I can... as an advocate
for them and to continue praying for them.”
INTRODUCING DAVIS NUAIMI
Joining the athletic staff in 2018, Nuaimi has served
as Operations Manager, Assistant Men’s Basketball
Coach, Game Management
Coordinator, and Assistant
Athletic Director of Sports
Communication. Stepping
into his new role Nuaimi
stated, “God is moving here
at LPU and I am grateful that
He has trusted me to lead
the Athletics department.
Our department exists
for the transformational
development of our studentathletes
into leaders, who
use their respective sports
as a vessel to serve, love, and expand the Kingdom
of God.”
