Action Group Cake Sale<br />
Milltownpass Community Action Group<br />
continue their activities with a Cake sale<br />
on Saturday, December 10 in the<br />
Community Centre between 10.30am and<br />
12.30pm.<br />
Also on show that day will be Sewing<br />
Craft products produced by those who<br />
took part in the sewing classes during the<br />
past couple of months. All proceeds will<br />
go towards the upkeep of the centre.<br />
St Anne’s National School<br />
(Famous) Cake Sale<br />
On Friday, December 9, St Anne’s<br />
National School are holding a Cake Sale<br />
from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. This is a repeat of<br />
last year’s very successful Cake Sale – so<br />
bakers, get baking!<br />
<strong>Christmas</strong> Lights in<br />
Tyrrellspass<br />
Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns are turning on<br />
the <strong>Christmas</strong> lights on December 3 on<br />
The Green. Attendees will be treated to<br />
mulled wine, mince pies and other<br />
seasonal refreshments. There will also be<br />
carol singing and a special appearance by<br />
Santa Claus. The festivities start at 5pm<br />
and go on until around 6.30pm.<br />
<strong>Christmas</strong> Lights in<br />
Milltownpass<br />
The turning on of the <strong>Christmas</strong> lights in<br />
Milltownpass is set to be another success<br />
this year. The Tidy Towns team are<br />
gearing up to making this special event an<br />
evening of community and student<br />
engagement, an evening to meet old and<br />
new friends and of course an evening<br />
where the younger members of the<br />
community get to meet Santa Claus in<br />
person!<br />
The lights will be switched on at 4.30pm<br />
on Saturday, December 10, by a local<br />
student, in the centre of Milltownpass<br />
village, at the T-Junction outside Skyclad<br />
and next to Grennan’s Bar, where light<br />
seasonal refreshments will be served<br />
afterwards. Come along and join in the<br />
festivities.<br />
Merry <strong>Christmas</strong> from Milltownpass! The<br />
kindness of everyone in Milltownpass<br />
village and beyond made it possible for the<br />
children in the local St. Joseph’s Primary<br />
School in Milltownpass to enjoy having<br />
their own <strong>Christmas</strong> Tree outside their<br />
school last year (2021).<br />
