Programs and Facilities<br />
Volunteers<br />
Council is fortunate to have 210 active volunteers across 9 program areas, collectively giving over 11,000 hours to the<br />
Community each year. Council recognises its volunteers annually at the Volunteers dinner and an end of year celebration.<br />
Home Support Program<br />
Jointly funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, the Campbelltown Home Support Program provides a<br />
range of services for frail older people and younger people with a disability to be able to continue living independently in their<br />
own homes and within the community.<br />
The program was able to assist 1,202 clients over the <strong>2021</strong>/<strong>2022</strong> financial year with the following services delivered:<br />
» Domestic assistance total 8,435 hours<br />
» Home maintenance and garden maintenance total 1,952 hours<br />
» Home modifications total $38,381<br />
» Social Support Groups total 13,035 hours<br />
» Assisted Shopping total 1,068 hours<br />
» Transport total 5,494 one way trips.<br />
Council Facilities<br />
Council maintains facilities on behalf of the Community, which are available for hire by clubs, organisations or individuals for<br />
long term, short term or individual event hire.<br />

Halls and Meeting Places<br />
Council owned halls and meeting places available for Community use are:<br />

» Campbelltown Function Centre<br />
» Campbelltown Memorial Oval Hall<br />
» Foxfield Oval Hall<br />
» Hectorville Community Centre<br />
» Lochend Community Hall<br />
» Magill Girl Guides<br />
» Magill Senior Citizens Hall<br />
» Margary Dunn Centre<br />
» Max Amber Sportsfield.<br />
Meeting rooms are also available for hire at the Campbelltown Library and The ARC Campbelltown for use by Community<br />
and Corporate groups.<br />
The Marchant Community Centre, Athelstone also offers programs and services to the Community.<br />
