Council completed its review of the Strategic Management<br />
Plans during 2020/<strong>2021</strong>. Subsequently the following Strategic<br />
Planning work was undertaken during <strong>2021</strong>/<strong>2022</strong>:<br />
» Climate Solutions Strategy – concurrent with the<br />
establishment of a Climate Solutions Policy, the Climate<br />
Solutions Advisory Committee workshopped a Strategy<br />
and Action Plan for Council’s consideration. The Strategy<br />
was adopted following a public consultation process.<br />
» The Lochiel Park Golf Building Master Plan was developed<br />
and endorsed in readiness for consultation during<br />
<strong>2022</strong>/2023.<br />
» The Paradise Recreation Plaza Master Plan was adopted<br />
enabling Staff to apply for grant funding to assist with<br />
construction of this important new Community facility.<br />
Details about work undertaken on other Council plans is provided<br />
in the detailed Strategic Plan performance report below.<br />
Staff worked collectively and with other organisations to<br />
coordinate the establishment and implementation of plans<br />
throughout the year. Of particular note:<br />
» Staff continued to liaise with Burnside Council and the<br />
Department of Infrastructure and Transport regarding design<br />
and implementation works for the Magill Village project.<br />
» Staff worked with the Department of Infrastructure and<br />
Transport regarding PLEC and road design works for<br />
Campbelltown Village.<br />
» Staff worked with Eastern Region Alliance Councils in<br />
respect to planning for consistent service delivery of Council<br />
elections and post-election training of Elected Members.<br />
