The First London Baptist Confession of Faith combined headings are what make up the table of Contents for quick referencing. Lastly, we have also included a Scriptural Index which lists Scriptures as they are employed throughout the work including the several Prefaces from 1644, 1646, 1651, the body of the Confession, and all Appendices. Our desire with these updates is that this republication of the Confession will lend itself favorably to laymen, students, and teachers alike, who wish to conveniently explore the beliefs held by these early Particular Baptists and begin to incorporate such discoveries into their understanding of God’s word. A great deal of energy, effort, and financial commitment is required to bring such a work as this into reality. However, despite the sacrifice, we do so with all confidence, trusting that you the reader, esteem not only the sacrificial exertions of our forefathers in the faith, but also the biblical heritage illustrated in their doctrines. We publish this current work to all the world and for future generations as an affectionate xxii
