Sue will be recounting her
travels, especially in Spain,
which she has published
in a book ‘A Spanish Love
Affair’. The meeting will be
held at Newport Bowling
Club on Thursday 2 March,

Combined Probus Club of
Mona Vale will be held on
Tuesday 21 March, in the
auditorium at Pittwater RSL
(from 10am). Guest speaker
is author Vivien Wilson who
self-published the fictionalised
memoir of her mother’s
remarkable life ‘Ursula’s Story:
From Berlin to Bayview’ in
June 2021, just as Coronavirus
forced Sydney into lockdown.

Help for Resilience Centre
onnecting Women’, an
‘Cannual networking
and fundraising event at
Pittwater RSL Club, will be
launched on March
24 with profits
donated to The
Women’s Resilience
Centre in Mona
Vale.
Club CEO Jason
Manning said Pittwater
would also
announce a new
partnership with
the centre.
“Our funding will support
women in our community
who have or are, experiencing
a trauma response to an
incredibly challenging situation
in their life,” he said.
“Pittwater is honoured to
sponsor the Caring Conversation
program and support
women in our community
as they bravely step forward
into a brighter future with
opportunity and hope.”
The event will include a
keynote presentation and
Q&A hosted by author and
philanthropist
Sarah Wilson,
known globally
for founding the I
Quit Sugar movement
– a digital
wellness program
and 13 award-winning
books that
sell in 52 countries
(in 2022 Sarah sold
the business and
gave everything to charity).
Also speaking will be
Simone Allan, founder of
the Women’s Resilience
Centre which has been set
up as a place of hope and
healing for women who have
suffered domestic violence,
deep loss or trauma and
who need support in stepping
forward to reset and
rebuild their lives.
