and lotus pond’ vase, c.1880, applied with the figure<br />

of a duck swimming amid encrusted lotus flowers, leaves and<br />

two crabs on rocks, iron red two character signature within<br />

a double gourd to the scene, the base with impressed mark<br />

within a double gourd, 30.5cm high, small losses, base drilled<br />

Eisuke, Meiji period, applied with a pair of twin dragon<br />

handles, cast in high relief with a galloping kirin, the reverse<br />

with a phoenix amid clouds, the domed cover surmounted<br />

by an eagle with outstretched wings, on three oni mask feet,<br />

signed to a seal ‘Miyao (?) zo’, 42cm high, 23cm wide<br />
