San Francisco highlights<br />

A great way of getting your bearings is a Hop on Hop o City bus<br />

tour which can be boarded at Union Square. Browse the quirky<br />

shops and restaurants at Pier 39 Fisherman’s Wharf or be fascinated<br />

at the California Academy of Science but a definite must for any<br />

first time visitor is a trip to Alcatraz Island. Be sure to book this in<br />

advance as it gets pretty full during the summer months. San<br />

Francisco has intriguing neighbourhoods at every turn so don’t miss<br />

riding the Cable cars from Fishermans Wharf to Union Square. The<br />

largest Chinatown outside of Asia is a great place for some cheap<br />

souvenirs and great food! Cycle over the city’s most iconic landmark<br />

the “Golden Gate Bridge”, where the views are incredible before<br />

taking a ferry back from the picturesque village of Sausalito.<br />
