In March 2022, Saugahatchee Country<br />
Club served as the backdrop for the<br />
reunion. Barry reached out to the original<br />
wedding party. Seventy-five percent<br />
of the wedding party was able to attend.<br />
Bridesmaids and groomsmen who now<br />
live in Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and all<br />
over <strong>Alabama</strong> showed up to celebrate the<br />
couple three decades later. Additionally,<br />
Barry’s niece who served as the flower girl<br />
was able to make the reunion. Ryann Stone<br />
is now married with two children and lives<br />
in Opelika, Ala.<br />
Groomsmen who were able to attend<br />
were locals Bubba Dean, Richard Patton<br />
and Doug Taylor while others were from<br />
out of town like Frankie Stankunas and<br />
Kevin Haynes. Others who couldn’t attend<br />
where Tim Garner (Opelika native), Hunter<br />
Killian (Leigh’s cousin from Colorado),<br />
Forest Whatley (Barry’s cousin and Opelika<br />
native) and Craig Whatley (Barry’s cousin<br />
and Opelika native).<br />
