seen anything like the level
of interest in 1104 Pittwater

60 inquiries less than 24

the majority of those initial
inquiries were from people
living overseas but added
there were also plenty of
locals fronting up to open

“We launched late March
at 4pm and by mid-morning
the next day we’d had at
least 60 inquiries, which is
unprecedented,” he said.
“It just goes to show how
rare these types of beachfront
properties anywhere on the
Northern Beaches are, and
expats are very keen on them.”
Mr Nicholson said overseas
interest in prime properties
had ramped up in recent times.
“A similar thing happened
after the GFC and after 9/11 as
well… expats aren’t necessarily
looking at properties to move
into straight away, they are

looking to buy now to ensure
they have a base here.”
The three-bedroom, threebathroom

auctioned on site on April 13
