NURTURING RESPONSIBILITY IN CHILDREN

It is IMPORTANT to educate children so they can grow up to be someone who is responsible,
because being responsible will never be separated from the life of every individual.
Therefore, it is important for every parent to teach their children to take care of themselves
and be responsible for themselves. Parents should try their best to teach their children some
basic skills of responsibility that will help them learn how to rely on themselves.
1. Get to know your children: As fathers and mothers, parents must recognize their own
children. Learn what works for your child specifically before you try to help him. It's better not
just to give orders, but it would be better to give very clear directions. Remember! Every child
is different and unique,so know your child’s character, so that instilling responsibility can be
effective.
2. Accept the emotions shown by children: Don't demand that children always be perfect, let
children occasionally experience the consequences of the mistakes they make, as long as
the consequences can still be managed.
3. Be a role model: Parents are a child's first educator, this is why it is important for parents
to be role models for their children. Parents are the first people to show them how to behave
responsibly. Parents should disclose to their children that as a parent, they are dependable
by showing examples directly how they carry out daily responsibilities.
