CONOR BRADLEY HAS SECURED HIS NAME IN WANDERERS’ HISTORY
BY BEING NAMED AS THE WHITES’ PLAYER OF THE SEASON.
Bradley has enjoyed an
outstanding season on loan
from Liverpool, making over 50
appearances for Ian Evatt’s side
in helping them reach the League
One play-offs and win the Papa
Johns Trophy.
The Northern Ireland international
was selected by the Wanderers’
fans as the club’s official Player of
the Season.
And his performances in the right
wing-back role, which have also
brought the 19-year-old seven
goals so far this season, also
earned him the vote as the Players’
Player of the Season and a share
of the Young Player of the Season
award with goalkeeper James
Trafford.
“It’s really nice to be voted for
by your team-mates, as they’re
the ones you’re with every single
day and they see the hard work
you put in, and also to be chosen
by the fans. Nothing would be
possible without them,” said
Bradley.
“I’ve just tried to give 100 per cent
every time I’ve gone out on the
pitch. I feel like I’ve done that and
it’s terrific to get these awards.
“It’s been a fantastic year and one
I’ve really enjoyed. It’s gone ever
better than I expected and to win
these awards is very special. I’m
thankful to everyone at the club for
the support they’ve given me.
“There are some massive names
on the (Player of the Season)
trophy so it’s an honour to win it.”
Bradley picked up his silverware at
the club’s 2022/23 End of Season
Awards, sponsored by Franking
Sense.
Almost 500 supporters, guests
and sponsors enjoyed a glittering
night in the Premier Suite at the
University of Bolton Stadium.
Dion Charles received the award
as top scorer for his 20 goals for
the Whites, while Aaron Morley
collected the prize – voted for
by supporters – for goal of the
season for his stunning free-kick at
Charlton Athletic.
Boss Evatt and his staff and firstteam
squad were in attendance
and shared the Performance
of the Season Award for their
Wembley win over Plymouth in the
Papa Johns Trophy, while Gethin
Jones was named as Community
Champion.
