GOOD AFTERNOON AND WELCOME BACK TO THE UNIVERSITY OF BOLTON
STADIUM FOR THE FINAL FIXTURE HERE THIS SEASON.
The response for tickets for the
game has again been outstanding
and to see the ground full will be
a magnificent sight and a fitting
reward for Ian and his team as
they look to advance through the
play-offs and further extend a
superb season.
Your backing has played a big part
in that and we thank you for your
on-going support.
This week we launched the
Wanderers Bond, which provides
another opportunity for supporters
to play an active role in the future
of the club.
The Bond offers supporters the
opportunity to make an investment
in the club at a starting level of
£500.
That investment would effectively
be a loan over a five-year period,
with a fixed rate of interest over
the term with the amount invested
repayable to the Bondholder after
five years with the following key
terms.
• 8.5% interest per annum
payable in cash on the anniversary
of the Bond
• 10% Championship Bonus
payable upon the Club competing
in the EFL Championship from the
24/25 season (either via promotion
from League One or retaining their
Championship status)
• ISA Eligible for tax-free returns
through an Innovative Finance ISA
• Minimum investment £500
and in increments of £500 (no
maximum investment)
Any funds raised through the
initiative – from supporters and
other interested parties – will
go hand-in-hand with further
investment from the club’s current
investors and owners and will be
utilised in two ways.
That will be for sporting
enhancements, including player
recruitment, training facilities and
advanced sports science, and to
improve club infrastructure in areas
such as the Fan Zone, the ticket
office and club shop, concourses,
hospitality and for improving
connectivity at the stadium, which
is long overdue.
Funding is required for the club to
try and achieve its aim of reaching
the Championship and, at the least,
stabilising there.
And while the Wanderers Bond
can’t and won’t be for every
supporter, we hope it does offer
some a new and exciting way to
further connect with the club and
play an invested part in its future.

These are exciting times for
Wanderers and among the
improvements being made over
the summer will be a £500,000
refurbishment of our hospitality
suites.
We were delighted to launch our
Club Bolton hospitality packages
earlier this month, with a new
hospitality pricing structure in place
for the 2023/24 season.
Discounted rates on what will be
the standard seasonal prices are
available through a Priority Access
offer, which closes at 5pm, Friday
2nd June, so please visit the club

you can enjoy watching Wanderers
next season.
We have also welcomed a new
domestic broadcast deal with Sky
Sports, which will run for five years
from 2024/25.
That will increase revenues,
exposure and commercial
opportunities for the club and will
also mean the opportunity to watch
more live games for those not
attending matches.
We believe it’s an excellent deal
with a highly credible partner in
Sky which will have big benefits
for Wanderers in the future –
particularly if we achieve our aim
of reaching the Championship at
some stage.
In the shorter term, we are excited
about the launch of our own
new media channels with a new
website, app and streaming service
coming next season.
Back on the football front, we
were delighted to see Ian sign a
new long-term contract with the
club as he looks to continue the
journey, he, Sharon and the Board,
are leading Wanderers on and
which continues with this play-off
campaign.
We bring the curtain down on the
season here this afternoon but
hope it still has two more games to
go, while the party doesn’t stop in
the stadium with the first two dates
of a worldwide tour from Pink! on
7 and 8 June getting ever closer.
There will be two more full houses
here for that, with hospitality
packages still available.
