To the / memory / of ELIZABETH, daughter of / NANCY BADDELEY who departed / this life<br />

October the 6th 1803 / aged 17 years<br />

In love I lived in peace I dyed / my life I craved but God deny'd / my virgin bloom he did<br />

deface / <strong>and</strong> sent me to a better place / so dear friends pray weep no more / I am not lost<br />

but gave before.<br />

Here / lies the body / of THOS FARRINGTON / who died Sept r 14th / 1751 aged 39.<br />

Here lies / THEOPILUS son of JOHN & ELIZ. WHARTON / of THE WELLINGS / whose conduct was<br />

unblamable / <strong>and</strong> behaviour truly pious / he died Agust 12th 1764 / aged 19. / Remember<br />

reader thou art born to die / <strong>and</strong> must return to dust as well as I / quit cheerfully thy<br />

earthly house of clay / God will restore it at the appointed day / restore it glorious if<br />

thou liveth well / watch then <strong>and</strong> pray; nor dread the solemn knell.<br />
