/ in the county of STAFFORD / who departed this mortal life / March fourth 1843 / in the<br />

fifty second year / of her age / Her delight was in doing good / <strong>and</strong> many have cause / to<br />

bless her.<br />

Large monument depicting three angels in marble, centre cross inscribed:- I.H.S.<br />

"The morning cometh, <strong>and</strong> also night." / "The trumpet shall sound, <strong>and</strong> the dead shall be<br />

raised." / Sacred / to the memory of / THOMAS KINNERSLEY Esq / of CLOUGH HALL in the county<br />

of STAFFORD / who departed this life on the fourth day of February 1855 / aged 72 years /<br />

His remains are deposited in the family vault beneath this chapel / The remembrance of his<br />

many virtues is deeply imprinted / on the heart of his affectionate sister / ELIZABETH<br />

KINNERSLEY / who has caused this monument to be erected / as a tribute of her affection <strong>and</strong><br />

gratitude / to a much beloved brother<br />

Decorated with statue of a woman with book <strong>and</strong> cross.<br />

Sacred / to the memory of / HARRIET / daughter of THOMAS KINNERSLEY of CLOUGH HALL in the<br />

county of STAFFORD / who after much patient suffering <strong>and</strong> with a steadfast faith <strong>and</strong> hope /<br />

in the merits of her saviour / departed this life / most deeply <strong>and</strong> deservedly lamented /<br />

May 4th 1843, aged 42 years / Her remains / are deposited in the vault beneath / In deep<br />

affliction for her irreperable loss / <strong>and</strong> as a last sad tribute of / the sincerest affection<br />

/ this monument is erected by / her constant companion <strong>and</strong> sister / ELIZABETH KINNERSLEY.<br />
