The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is
the world's largest anti-fraud professional organization
with more than 90.000 members in 160 countries and

CFE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Have a Bachelor’s degree from an institution of higher
learning. No specific field of study is required, or be a
member of a professional recognized body i.e. ACCA,
ICAEW, AIA, etc.), or have two years of fraud-related
professional experience for each year of academic
study.
At the time of certification, candidates must have two
years of professional experience in a field either directly
or indirectly related to the detection or deterrence of
fraud. Accounting and Auditing, Criminology &
Sociology, Fraud Investigation, Loss Prevention and Law
experience can be acceptable as fraud related.

CFE EXAMINATION
The CFE examination is a computer-based multiple-choice
examination consisting of 4 sections: Financial
Transactions & Fraud Schemes, Law, Investigation and
Fraud Prevention & Deterrence.
Test takers have two hours to complete each section of the
CFE Exam. Each section of the exam can be taken
separately as long as all sections are completed within 60
days. To pass, you must accurately answer at least 75% of
the questions in each section of the CFE Exam.
To register for the examination, candidates should first
become an ACFE member and have a CFE Examination
application approved at least one month before they plan
to take the CFE Exam. Candidates can register for the exam
by themselves through ACFE’s official site.
CFE Exam results are available in 3 to 5 business days once
all exam sections have been submitted for grading.

The CFE Exam Prep Course Software is a computer
self-study course that prepares you to pass the
rigorous CFE Exam while letting you study at your own
pace. Including the Fraud Examiners Manual and
1,400 study questions and timed practice tests
stimulate the actual CFE Exam experience.
Candidates must purchase the CFE Exam Prep
Course Software directly from ACFE Institute. The
member price of the CFE Exam Prep Course Software
is $ $899.20 for members [Silver Subscription]. The
cost to take the CFE Exam is $450. If candidates
purchase the CFE Exam Prep Course, the cost to take
CFE Exam is reduced from $450 to $350.
The CFE Exam Prep Course Software is recommended
to all exam applicants. The Prep Course Software will
be considered complete once all review questions
have been answered correctly at least once and a
score of 85% or higher has been achieved on all four
practice exams.
CONSTANTIN OU ELE NI (LAW DEG., LLM, CFE)
Eleni has earned a Law degree from the University of
Thrace and LLM in International Commercial Law from
the University of Leicester. Since 2017, she is a Certified
Fraud Examiner and member of the Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners. Over the years, Eleni has
delivered a number of presentations and trained people
in the areas of Fraud and Compliance. She has served as
Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting
Officer for a Cypriot Investment Firm. Currently holds
the position of the Deputy Head of Compliance
Department of a banking institution.

The course is partly subsidized by HRDA with the amount of
€400 *.
The net tuition fee for eligible companies will be €490.
A 15% discount applies for self-funded individuals
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Tuition fees include lectures and instructors' exam focus
notes.
The price does NOT include ACFE membership, exam
fees, or the CFE Exam Software Prep Course. More
information on registration procedures and costs can be

Exam registration and the purchase of ACFE training
materials should be handled by students individually.
* The CFE course is partly funded by HRDA. For the official HRDA directive, please visit https://www.anad.org.cy/
Participating companies that meet the HRDA criteria must submit their application for the subsidy to Ermis portal
prior to the program's start date.
Employees participating in the respective training course should attend at least 75% of the course duration. If failed
to do so, the participant will then be obligated to pay back the HRDA subsidy to SPS.
Self-funded individuals must register with a €300 down payment. The remaining balance to be paid in three monthly
installments of €167, due at the end of November 2023, end of December 2023, and end of January 2024.

Starting on 24 October 2023
The lectures take place once a week, every
Wednesday between the hours 6:15pm and 9:15pm,
except the FT&FS module, which class meetings will
commence at 6:00pm. Saturday's lectures are taking
place between 9:00am - 13:00pm.
