Position The Head of <strong>School</strong> of <strong>Fort</strong> <strong>Worth</strong> <strong>Christian</strong> reports to the Board of Trustees and is the sole employee of the Board. The Head is the chief spiritual, academic, and financial leader of the school, guiding a talented administrative team to oversee FWC. Characteristics & Responsibilities SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP • Be a spiritually mature <strong>Christian</strong> displaying humility and servant leadership. • Be known as a person of impeccable character, respected as trustworthy, living the values of integrity, service, and respect for others. • Engagingly articulate a biblical worldview to students, faculty, staff, parents, and the North Richland Hills community. EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP • Above all, ensure that FWC does not drift from its core mission to provide a solidly <strong>Christian</strong> education and to disciple students to love, serve, and glorify God. • Be a proven leader of leaders, an excellent unifier, trust builder, team builder, team leader, delegator, and motivator. Have a clear perspective on organizational design and a stewardship mentality in optimizing resources. • Be a strategist, vision caster, implementer, able to inspire enthusiasm, and nurture ideas for continuous improvement, excellence, growth, financial stability, and development. • Be an effective collaborator, engaging and inspiring direct reports, staff, and faculty to perform at their very best. Have a solid understanding of corporate governance, with a track record of effective board relationship management, leadership, and comfort managing up. Have goal execution abilities. • Develop and execute future plans regarding school facilities, particularly new Lower, Middle, and Upper <strong>School</strong> facilities. Support ongoing fundraising efforts to ensure the school’s health and growth. • Be a great communicator; build healthy processes, structure, and policies; demonstrate fair and consistent operational abilities.
