Sing with choirs from all over the world in the top-class choir competition and in the evenings come together in one of the many taverns of the city and taste the delicious Vinho Verde, the first wine of the year. Lisbon is one of the oldest and most beautiful European metropolises and not only features a wonderful landscape but also great history and a pleasant climate. Even in mid-November, daytime temperatures reach almost +20°C and do not drop below +10°C at night. Join in and celebrate the last sunny summer days together with choirs from all over the world in the Portuguese capital on the banks of the Tagus!

Biblioteca Palácio Galveias<br />

A biblioteca do Palácio Galveias foi a casa de campo dos Távoras e residência dos condes<br />

de Galveias antes de se tornar arquivo, biblioteca e museu da cidade. O Prémio Nobel<br />

José Saramago disse uma vez que "aprendeu realmente a ler" nesta biblioteca. Em<br />

homenagem ao escritor, a maior sala do rés do chão foi baptizada com o seu nome.<br />

Atualmente, a biblioteca não é apenas um local de leitura popular, mas também uma<br />

extraordinária sala de concertos.<br />

The Palácio Galveias library was the country house of the Távoras and residence of the<br />

counts of Galveias before it became an archive, library, city museum. Nobel Prize winner<br />

José Saramago once said that he "really learned to read" in this library. As a tribute to the<br />

writer, the largest room on the ground floor was named after him. Today, the library is not<br />

only a popular place for reading but also an extraordinary concert venue.<br />
