Responding in a Crisis<br />

In August <strong>2016</strong>, Louisiana experienced historic flooding that impacted thousands of businesses and families<br />

in Acadiana. Through August and September, we focused on flood recovery and response. Working with local<br />

partners, we served as an information hub and connected businesses and individuals to resources.<br />

One Acadiana remains an active partner in conversations to<br />

support regional preparedness and resiliency.<br />

to host a Shelter at Home Contractor Job Fair, where<br />

more than 230 sub-contractors and craftsmen met with<br />

firms hired by the state as general contractors.<br />

Louisiana Small<br />

Business Rebirth Fund,<br />

which provided rapidresponse<br />

made available through the SBA.<br />
