Deze koolsoort is familie van de Paksoi, heeft paarse<br />
stelen met frisgroene bladeren. Oogst de stengels<br />
vroeg, wanneer de bloemen nog in knop zitten, want<br />
dan zijn ze het lekkerst. De stengels zijn zacht en<br />
vlezig, lekker om mee te roerbakken of te verwerken<br />
in salades; stoom de stengels dan even kort. Zaaien<br />
onder glas van februari tot maart en in de vollegrond<br />
van april tot augustus.<br />
Hon Tsai Tai - Yu Choi Sum<br />
Cette variété de chou fait partie de la famille du Pak-<br />
Choi, et possède des tiges violettes avec des feuilles<br />
d’un vert frais. Récoltez prématurément les tiges,<br />
lorsque les fleurs sont encore en bouton, car c’est<br />
à ce moment-là qu’elles sont les plus savoureuses.<br />
Les tiges sont molles et charnues, et sont délicieuses<br />
lorsqu’elles sont sautées ou utilisées dans des<br />
salades ; il suffit de faire brièvement cuire les tiges à<br />
la vapeur. Semer sous serre de février à mars et en<br />
pleine terre d’avril à août.<br />

Hon Tsai Tai - Coy Sum<br />
This cabbage is related to pak choi and has purple<br />
stems with fresh green leaves. Harvest the stems<br />
early, when the flowers are still in bud, as this is when<br />
they are at their best. The stalks are soft and fleshy,<br />
delicious when stir-fried or used in salads; just steam<br />
the stalks briefly. Sow under glass from February to<br />
March and outdoors from April to August.<br />
Hon Tsai Tai - Yu Choi Sum<br />
Diese Kohlsorte gehört zur Familie der Pak Choi und<br />
hat violette Stängel mit sattgrüne Blätter. Am besten<br />
erntet man die Stängel frühzeitig, wenn die Blüten<br />
sich noch im Knospenstadium befinden, da sie<br />
dann am leckersten sind. Die Stängel sind weich und<br />
fleischig und lassen sich köstlich im Wok zubereiten<br />
oder in Salaten verarbeiten; in diesem Falle Stängel<br />
leicht vorher andünsten. Von Februar bis März unter<br />
Glas und von April bis August im Freien aussäen.<br />
