FORT SISSETON
Enjoy Frontier Christmas at Fort Sisseton Historic State Park,
Saturday, December 14, 2024. This annual event allows visitors to
take part in time-honored holiday traditions at this authentic military
post. Interact with re-enactors dressed as soldiers, scouts and
pioneers. Enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides, string popcorn and meet
Father Christmas. Other fun events that take place each year at
the Fort are the Historical Festival, May 31-June 2, 2024. Northern
Fort Playhouse in July and the Harvest Festival, September 21,
