Pelican Lake Recreation Area – This hidden
gem 9 miles southwest of Watertown is one
of the most beautiful parks in our region. It
boasts over 5 miles of scenic trails through
native prairie and wildflowers. Don’t forget
to visit the archery range and 14 target
course as you prepare for hunting season.

Sandy Shore Recreation Area – This
beautiful park on the south shore of Lake
Kampeska has quickly become a favorite
with area campers. Sandy Shore is located
on the nicest swimming beach in the area
with modern campsites and new comfort
station. There are also two new lake front
cabins that each has its own dock!

Stokes-Thomas Lake City Park – Located
on northeast shore of Lake Kampeska, off
Hwy. 20 at 90 South Lake Dr., 64 camping
sites with water & electricity. 6 pull-through
sites with sewer, water and electricity. 4
camping cabins. Dump station on site.
Swimming beach with boat launch, modern
comfort stations, 2 playgrounds, large picnic
area with shelters, bike/jogging trail and
