Dacotah Prairie Museum – Located in
historic downtown Aberdeen, 21 S. Main
St., exhibits highlight Brown County’s
history and the people who lived here
past and present. Art exhibits by local
artists, Hatterscheidt Wildlife Gallery,
prairie diorama, Native American displays,
historical exhibits, gift shop. Hours: Tues-

Richmond Lake Recreation Area – Nestled
around the 900-acre Richmond Lake and is
located 12 miles northwest of Aberdeen. The
recreation area offers boating and fishing
access, swimming and kayak and paddle
board rentals. The 24-site campground has
30 and 50 amp electrical service at each site,
a restroom facility, dump and fill station and
cabin for rent. The Forest Drive region of the
area has an extensive multiuse trail system
