or are torn or holey such as clothes,<br />

stuck zippers and shoes, sunglasses<br />

and jewellery, furniture and lamps,<br />

ceramics and pottery, blunt knives<br />

to sharpen, appliances, headphones<br />

and cables, electronics and gadgets,<br />

phones and computers (software<br />

or hardware), toys, broken plastic<br />

objects, or anything that is easily<br />

transportable.<br />

Christchurch Commonwealth Games 50th Anniversary<br />

Display Saturdays from 10am-4pm at New Brighton Museum. There<br />

will be memorabilia related to the 1974 Commonwealth Games held in<br />

Christchurch at the museum. On display will be memorabilia all related<br />

to these games including; photos and newspaper clippings, old uniforms,<br />

an official 1973 Holden Kingswood car, a fully restored 25lb field gun used<br />

during the games for the gun salutes on the arrival of Queen Elizabeth II<br />

and other state leaders attending these games, and much more.<br />
