Arab Strap are a Scottish indie rock band whose core
members are Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton. In
January 2024, the band announced their new album,

DEAN OWENS & The SINNERS :: At Green Note,
London. (Night before playing Cambridge Folk
Festival). Dean is excited to be heading back to one of
his favourite London venues this summer with The
Sinners. Dean Owens is an adventurous, award
winning, troubadour, and a natural wanderer. His 9
(official) acclaimed solo albums, mostly recorded in
the US, have seen him collaborate with some of the
most respected musicians and producers around
(including Al Perkins, Will Kimbrough, Neilson
Hubbard, Grant-Lee Phillips and most recently, Gaby

Update from Brunton Theatre Trust – shows are
not cancelled:
Brunton Theatre Trust is bouncing back thanks to the
support of performers, audiences, East Lothian
Council and local partners. The Trust was hit by
devastating news that its performance spaces had to
shut with immediate effect for structural surveys.
However, the programme of events has NOT been
cancelled. The Trust are working hard to source and
set up alternative venues for events, within
Musselburgh and close by.

‘Hit The Road’ with LOW TIDE, HOME FOR JOY
and ADAM and the OBSERVERS :: At Sneaky
Pete’s, Edinburgh. Three emerging young bands have
been selected to take part in Scotland’s esteemed
youth music touring project Hit The Road, and will
each perform headline hometown gigs. LOW TIDE –
are an Edinburgh-based indie rock band who formed
in high school, their debut single Between Knuckles
was released in August 2023. HOME FOR JOY – are
a Greenock alt-rock band their first single Chapstick
was released in January 2024. ADAM AND THE
OBSERVERS – are a Dundee group, they aim to offer
a raw, true perspective on life that is relatable and
comforting for their listeners.
