Kemppi’s FastMigproduct family got
two new members, as new wire feed
units were launched for Basic and Synergic
machines. A 200 mm wire reel can be used
in the new MF 29 wire feed unit, designed
for Basic machines. The MSF 57 wire feed
unit, designed for Synergic machines, can
be fi tted with both 200 mm and 300 mm
wire reels.
The lightweight and compact MF 29 wire
feed unit is for use with Kemppi KM 300,
KM 400 and KM 500 power sources. Its most
typical application areas are the shipbuilding,
off shore, transport and machining industries,
whose diffi cult conditions demand

The unit contains a double-skinned impactresistant
plastic casing, making it suitable
for use in demanding outdoor and indoor
conditions. Designed and manufactured by
Kemppi, the DuraTorque wire feed mechanism
ensures a trouble-free wire feed for different
fi ller wires. Protection sliders, a gas fl ow
regulator and protective frame for hanging
are accessories available for the MF 29.
Representing the very latest in Kemppi
design, the MSF 57 wire feed unit complements
the FastMig Synergic product range.
The model is intended for use with KMS 300,
KMS 400 and KMS 500 power sources. Kemppi
customer wishes were taken into consideration
in the development of the wire
feed unit, and special attention was
given to the unit’s usability, troublefree
wire feed and operating conditions.
This model also comes with a
durable, double-skinned plastic
casing, and the operating panel
is protected by a tough clear plastic
cover. Kemppi’s four-roll Dura-

The MSF 57 has two control panel options,
each in accordance with the welding needs.
Intended for basic applications, the SF 54
control panel has a digital display, stepless
welding voltage and wire feed rate control,
gas test button, wire feed switch and MMA
welding option.
Designed to facilitate demanding welding
applications, the SF 53 control panel off ers
the basic features mentioned above as well
as: crater fi lling, hot start, creep start, synergic
programs for most commonly used materials
and memory channels for saving MIG
parameters.
Designed for spatter-free root pass welding,
the FastROOT feature can be ordered as an
optional feature on the SF 53 control panel.
FastROOT ensures an easy and fast root
pass weld, which signifi cantly increases work
productivity and weld quality.
The MSF 57 is the professional’s tool of choice
for demanding work in demanding conditions,
whether indoors or out.
