Introduction<br />

This program takes a light-hearted look at the journey that all adolescences take - puberty. It explains<br />

the many significant experiences <strong>and</strong> many changes that will take place in their bodies. <strong>The</strong> program<br />

reassures adolescents that these changes are normal <strong>and</strong> that they are not alone as they take the first<br />

steps towards their new identity as an adult.<br />

Disc one has a specific focus placed on the sexual changes that occur in boys.<br />

Disc two has a specific focus placed on the sexual changes that occur in girls.<br />

Recommended for use with junior health classes.<br />

Circumcision: Removal of some of the skin around the penis.<br />

Ejaculation: <strong>The</strong> release of a milky white liquid through the penis.<br />

Erection: When the penis fills with blood, making it firmer <strong>and</strong> longer in size.<br />

Hormones: Special chemicals our bodies make to help it do things such as grow.<br />

Larynx: Voice box.<br />

Puberty: Natural process your body goes through to become an adult.<br />
