the incomparable know-how of its master porcelain makers for
over 200 years.
Today, Pillivuyt is one of the oldest and most prestigious brands of
French porcelain.
In 1818, Jean Louis Richard Pillivuyt established our porcelain factory,
which still bears his name today. Currently, the Pillivuyt factory
produces and manufactures traditional and timeless porcelain, according
to the highest standards of quality.
Equipped with state of the art production equipment, Pillivuyt
cleverly blends century-old traditional craftsmanship with modern
techniques to create perfect individual pieces to complement any table.
To this day, signature items such as the lion’s head soup tureen are
handfi nished by seasoned experts, making them true on-of-a-kind
collector’s items.
Pillivuyt’s philosophy is to develop and produce very high-quality items
for great chefs but also for individual epicureans, who are both passionate
and demanding when it comes to cooking and gastronomy.
Instinctively innovative, Pillivuyt is always looking to improve the quality
of its product. We have recently made changes to the composition
of the porcelain paste by adding a special component. We have
developed a product which has taken the strength of the product to
new heights and allows us to make a thinner product without loosing
any of the inherent resistance to thermal and mechanical shock. We
have called this new enhanced porcelain PILLENIUM and it can be
seen in the new Louna, Vendôme and Valencay ranges.
Continuously adapting to our clients’ requirements, Pillivuyt offers a
wide range of more than 1 000 products and numerous decorations.
Thus, Pillivuyt has been able to evolve with traditions and customs,
and has created items for both table and cooking which meet the
requirements of the most demanding users in terms of practicality,
longevity and design.
