LIVERPOOL RENAISSANCE MUSIC GROUP
Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings
7.30-10pm in the Department of Music over the
period of the University year. The group’s voices
include the usual soprano, alto, tenor and bass
ranges but counter-tenors and the recently emerging
voice - the female tenor – are welcome. The most
important qualification is a love and commitment to

CHILDREN’S LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT?
✽ Are you interested in your child’s language
development? Researchers at the Child Language
Study Centre within the School of Psychology are
looking for children aged between one and three
years to take part in a study on very young
children’s understanding of language. The study
uses the preferential looking paradigm, which
requires the child to watch a series of short cartoons
whilst seated on their parent’s or carer’s lap, and
takes about 30 minutes.The study takes place in the
Child Language Study Centre, located in the Eleanor
Rathbone Building, on Bedford St South. For more
